Michelle Guy DeBord, LCSW
Michelle is from Marion, Virginia and is a lifelong resident of Southwestern Virginia.
She attended Virginia Tech and completed her undergraduate studies in Education. She began her career working for. Smyth County Schools and the VA Department of Rehabilitative Services. She continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University, attaining a Masters of Social Work. Her clinical skills were developed working on an inpatient program and subsequently became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Following retirement from the State of Virginia, she continued working for the Smyth County General District Court completing assessments regarding inpatient care in Virginia. She does individual therapy at Heatherwood Counseling in Marion, VA integrating cognitive techniques with psycho social approaches.
She lives with her 2 dogs, loves to travel and dotes on various family members.
